C. Jones Family Farms of Hartford SD recently tested the new Purina Mills Pig Starters. Working with District Manager Keith Matthiesen they started two groups averaging 12.97 lbs.

“The weaner pigs on the new Purina Mills Program ate 9% more than the control group and had a .56 ADG for the 14 day feeding period versus .46 on the control group.” commented Chris.

“Although we could not see any visual difference we knew the test group would be heavier because of the increased feed intake. And when we weighed them the New Purina Mills Pig Starter pigs were 1.35 lb heavier.”
